Protect the honeybee with Miasa

Maya the Bee in danger: Certain mites and humans are giving busy bees a hard time. Over the last years, bee deaths increased dramatically. A certain type of mites but also actions by humans are to blame: pesticides and environmental pollution that are sprayed on crops and distributed in the environment are slowly exterminating the bee colonies.

Bees are not only important because of their honey – but also for the entire ecosystem and in the end for us too. Because they pollinate plants, we have to thank them for our fruit and vegetables.

If you like to support beekeepers and bee colonies, this is very easy and even tasty: Our saffron acacia honey is a high-grade delicacy. By savouring it, you support responsible beekeepers who look well after their bees.

Our honey is a sweet acacia honey from Germany refined with fine MIASA saffron. Cold extracted and gently bottled. The natural ferment content is preserved. Exceptionally strict quality tests guarantee a particularly high-grade honey. And our standard for all ingredients lay way above legal provisions.

Enjoy our saffron honey as a sweet note in tea, coffee or hot milk. You will also be convinced with when spreading on breakfast rolls, on pastries or with fine recipes. What about the delicious Williams parfait with honey saffron pears or saffron honey milk that will give you sweet dreams?

What else can we do to help the bees? Offer them flowers – not chemically treated – on your balcony or in your garden. Bees love dahlia variablis, lobelias or alyssums. The blossoms of lavender, thyme, mint, basil, sage or chives are great for bees too. The herbs can then be used in the kitchen. Regular dahlias, forsythia, roses, geraniums, daisies and asters are useless for the busy honeybees.

So: Let’s protect the bees – in our own interest too. Because: who wants to go without flowers, fruit and vegetables?
