We wish you Merry Christmas
It’s Christmas time again! For many it’s the greatest feast of the year – finally the family is getting together again, we dine together and enjoy the peaceful days among the loved ones. With a little luck, we will see ice crystals and icing sugar snow for the celebrations – doesn’t this make cosy hours by the fire with tea or mulled wine even nicer?
A stroll on the Christmas market, the wrapping of gifts and the preparing of the Christmas dinner are beloved traditions around Christmas. Christmas remembers the birth of Jesus in a manger in a stable in Bethlehem. It was already celebrated in Rome in 336.
And what does your Christmas decoration look like? Whether it’s lush or modest – a little bit of Christmas sparkling is a must. Traditional Christmas colours are silver, gold, red, snow white and green. But Christmas worlds in blue, pink or any other colour of choice are acceptable today. A fresh fir-tree or flashy plastic tree – each to their own.
Our tip: What about your Christmas decoration in saffron tones? Saffron yellow resembles gold (in antiquity, saffron was used to imitate gold scripts) and suits festive times wonderfully. It also represents elegnace and luxury – perfect for Christmas. Glitter accessories, Christmas baubles or candles in saffron yellow emphasise the festive atmosphere. With living room accessories like table mats, curtains, cushions and cosy blankets bring the warm colour to your home. Warm yellow light bulbs provide homely light.
Our DIY tip: Cloth serviettes can be dyed with saffron. Saffron yellow decoration go well with creamy white, dark green or tone in tone with gold. So: Surprise Father Christmas with a new colour scheme this Christmas!
