Saffron Champagne
On ice, with elderflower cordial, rosé, pure or even with a scoop of lemon sorbet: Prosecco is versatile, effervescent and still one of the most popular aperitifs in anyone's drinks repertoire. But a pinch of saffron gives this international favorite a surprising twist as well as an intriguing color. Delicate MIASA saffron combined with a fruity sparkling wine makes for the ideal party drink, particularly on New Year's Eve.
Preperation
Coarsely grind the saffron threads in a mortar. Fill the champagne glasses with the Prosecco and sprinkle a small pinch of saffron into each. |
Allow to infuse for about 30 seconds and enjoy. |
